Wearing a MBT for my problem knees

Ever since I injured a right knee muscle during my Silkroad trip in Oct 1998. My right knee became weak and later affecting my left knee too. Now they are giving me problem during jogging, climbing stairs, and long hours walking.

During the Dec 05's Youth Camp, I had walked too much while running errands and buying materials and photostating camp notes... my right knee had another muscle tear during my last prayer for the camp... I simply fell onto the floor and couldn't stand up for 15 min. After that, I went to polyclinic, which referred me to Singapore General Hospital for Physio Therapy. I was diagnois with osteoarthritis.

2 or 3 months ago, my hubby brought me to Suntec City's Red Wing to get me a pair of MBT. It costed him S$369, he said it can help me with my flat foot and knee problems. The sales person was very helpful in explaining the MBT's functions and gave me on-the-spot practical walking lessons wearing the shoe.

Basically, the shoe sole (bottom) is thick cushioned sole and ROUND! You need to find your pivot point of centre of gravity (while standing). Every step you made, you roll (and bounce... heehee), as if you are walking on sand. This helps you to adjust your walking posture and working all the leg muscles. I also went for a Free MBT walking training conducted by a Pilate's instructor. I enjyed the lesson very much and happy with the MBT. The result is superb, I don't feel much pain around my knees like before.

MBT is meant for back, hip, leg and foot problems; and joint, muscle ligament and tendon injuries. A lot celeb in US are wearing MBT for leg slimming! As it is a workout any moment when you stand, walk, jog or during an aerobics or gym session...

For me, simply enjoy the less-pain time of my life... haa haa.
